Commission a hand-embroidered tablecloth

Fine Cell Work has made a number of tablecloths to commission, in both traditional and contemporary styles, using embroidery and appliquÈ.

The embroidered motifs of the tablecloths, some of which are very large, can be sewn in the cell and then applied to the cloth in the prison workshop. They are collaborative works requiring an unusual degree of skill. They are priced between £100 and £500 (plus VAT).

The spotted cloth to the left of the page was designed for Fine Cell Work by Sandy Jones, and has been sold in Jane Churchill, the rust coloured one below was inspired by this style.

The tablecloth below was commissioned for a private house in West Sussex. It was stitched in crewel wools by Gloria Giraldo, an ex-offender living in Colombia, who was able to emigrate to Spain to start a new life on the proceeds.
