COMMISSIONS

Church Kneelers

Fine Cell Work have taken many commissions for church kneelers over the years and there are almost no restrictions on what can be reproduced.

Simply send us your design idea with measurements, which may be a photograph or an idea of what you would like and we will send you a free quotation.

In addition we can stitch from our range of stock designs.

Pew Runners and Cushions

We can also make pew cushions and pew runners either to a specific design or help to you to think creatively about what might be appropriate.

Embroidery for Stoles

We have taken commissions for embroidery to be applied to church stoles and recently completed a cross motif which was then applied to a stole to be worn by the Reverend at St Cuthberts College, at the University of Durham. Please do contact us for more information about this kind of commission.

As with any projects, pretty much most things are possible here at Fine Cell Work! We recently completed a rosary purse for a client (seen here in royal blue) and the stitcher making it was thrilled to have such a different and special project.

Watts and Co, London

Fine Cell Work are also delighted to be working with Watts and Co one of Britain's leading church furnishers, founded in 1874 and still to this day producing furniture and textiles in a style distinctly their own.

Watts and Co are supporting Fine Cell Work by offering a range of designs for Church Kneelers to their clients which shall then be stitched by FCW stitchers. In addition they will offer clients the opportunity to design their own decorative top panel in needlepoint. Watts and Co will then expertly make up the kneelers to create the finished item.

The photograph here of the Agnus Dei design was stitched by Fine Cell Work and expertly made up by Watts and Co.

"Not only are the purpose and objectives of Fine Cell Work highly valuable and incredibly important, but we have also found their finished products to be of outstanding quality and true craftmanship. An astonishing achievement."
